Katherine Wintsch

Founder & Ceo, the mom complex | Author, Slay Like a Mother

Katherine has dedicated her life to making the lives of mothers easier. She understands what makes moms tick, and her research on modern motherhood has been featured by The Today Show, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Fast Company. She writes regularly for Working Mother magazine, and was named Advertising Women of New York’s “Working Mother of the Year” in 2016… an award given to women who have achieved outstanding business results while also serving as strong role models at work, at home and within their communities. Her book, Slay Like A Mother, is helping mothers around the world destroy what’s holding them back so they can live the life they want. Katherine’s keynote will have Megaphone Summit attendees leaping out of their seats with passion and dabbing at their eyes with emotion (don’t worry: our presenting sponsor Kimberly-Clark will provide the Kleenex!), and all conference attendees will receive copies of Katherine’s empowering book.

jordan jones

Founder & CEO, Packed Party

Packed Party, an online lifestyle gifting platform, started as a middle of the night vision in 2013 when Jordan was a frazzled twenty-something living alone in a tiny San Francisco apartment. Overwhelmed with her life situation, she called her mom to complain and received some tough love in response. Her mom told her that she was having a "pity party" and to just go to sleep. As she slept that night, she had a dream about sending herself a “pity party for one” package, which led to her leaping out of bed in the middle of the night and writing a business plan. These days, her successful company has products at Nordstrom and major brand partnerships with Rebecca Minkoff, Soap & Glory and Reese Witherspoon’s brand, Draper James. Jordan will share her story about what it’s like to be a twenty-something CEO, how she dodged doubt and how she leveraged social media to build Packed Party into the thriving brand that it is today.
